Welcome to the Web Site for the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter in Yakima, WA. We hope you will find this site informative and useful. Our chapter is now over 80 members strong and hosts Saturday Morning coffee and donuts at Yakima Airpark. Our members have projects as varied as a Lancair 4P, a restored Taylorcraft BC-12D and an Ison Tandem Airbike.

In addition to a long aviation history, Yakima also boosts an active, viable Aircraft factory, CubCrafters. CubCrafters generously provides technical support for Chapter 206. Some of Yakima's aviation heritage is preserved at The McAllister Museum of Aviation.

We share many common interests with the Yakima Chapter of the Washington Pilots Association and participate with the WPA in advocating general aviation and aviation safety.

For your convenience we have a number of useful links to assist in flight planning. These links can generate legal NACO approach and departure plates for YKM. We have started a new Web Page that shows local grass landing strips. Many of the photos were contributed by Tom McMahon and we post more photos as they are submitted.
